Dan Maguire

Dan Maguire, PG, is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in subsurface management and geoscience leadership within the energy sector. Currently serving as VP Subsurface at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since March 2023, Dan also works as Principal Consultant at Antrim Energy Consulting, LLC. Previously, Dan held significant roles at Kosmos Energy, leading subsurface teams in Equatorial Guinea, and at Hess Corporation, managing geoscience efforts on high-production West African assets. Early career experiences include leadership positions at Chevron and Unocal, focusing on seismic data acquisition and geophysical evaluations across various global projects. Dan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master's degree in Management from Chulalongkorn University.
