Shane Paty

Shane Paty is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in technical accounting and SOX compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Accounting and SOX Compliance at Vail Resorts since September 2021, Shane previously held various roles including Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and SOX Compliance, and Senior Manager of Technical Accounting. Prior to joining Vail Resorts, Shane was a Manager in Assurance and Advisory at SingerLewak LLP and spent several years at PwC in positions ranging from Assurance Associate to Assurance Manager. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Early career experiences include internal audit internships at McDonald's Corporation and Allstate, focusing on compliance and risk-based audits.
