Kenneth Straka

Kenneth Straka is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as the Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Vail Systems since February 2011, Kenneth guides the Voice Application Engineering group and facilitates communication between team members and stakeholders. Prior to this, Kenneth worked at CEFCU as a Senior Software Engineer and Web Analyst/Admin, leading a team responsible for the development and maintenance of the organization's websites. Additional experience includes serving as an Information Security Specialist at the National Science Foundation, focusing on information system security, as well as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where a secure networking protocol was developed. Kenneth's career began as a Mac Genius at Apple Computer. Kenneth holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Bradley University.
