Jan Lanzer has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Jan started their career at Volksbank Klettgau-Wutöschingen eG in 2003, where they worked as a Kundenberater and completed their Ausbildung as a Bankkaufmann / Finanzassistent. In 2008, they joined Valartis Group und Valartis Bank AG, initially working in Financial Reporting before transitioning to Group Accounting & Controlling. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Head of Group Controlling for the same company. In 2014, they continued their role as Head of Group Controlling at Valartis Group.

Jan Lanzer earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Betriebsökonomie from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz from 2005 to 2008. From 2003 to 2005, they also attended Kaufmännische Schule Schopfheim, where they pursued a degree in Bankkaufmann / Finanzassistent. Finally, Jan Lanzer obtained a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting from Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich, studying from 2011 to 2013.
