Andrew Tallaksen

Andrew Tallaksen is a Design Engineer at Valcor Engineering Corporation since April 2021, focusing on the design and analysis of pneumatically and solenoid actuated valves for aerospace applications. Prior experience includes serving as Mechanical Engineer II at Honeybee Robotics, where contributions were made to lunar mission projects and the development of custom tooling. Andrew's academic background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, where notable projects involved leading a systems engineering team for a lunar rover prototype and developing a novel robot for precision uranium detection. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
