Leonardo Faria

Leonardo Faria is an experienced professional in asset integrity and management, currently serving as the Asset Integrity Manager for Global Engineering, Reliability and Asset Management at Vale since July 2021. Responsibilities include conducting technical assessments for VALE Engineering Standards across various operations and projects globally, with a focus on risk analysis, process safety, and the development of safe designs. Leonardo has an extensive background with Vale, having held multiple roles since 2005, such as Reliability and Asset Integrity Specialist, Coordinator of the Asset Monitoring Center, and Maintenance Planning and Control Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Civil and Maintenance Engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a specialization in Process Safety from RSE.
