Mauro Cordeiro

Mauro Cordeiro serves as the Maintenance Manager at Vale’s Pelletizing Plant 8 in Vitoria, ES, with a career that includes various leadership roles within the company's pelletizing operations, such as Central Maintenance and Workshop Manager and Maintenance Manager across multiple plants. With extensive experience in maintenance planning and control, Mauro also worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Planning and Control Supervisor and Maintenance Engineer, focusing on routine maintenance and plant shutdowns. Prior to Vale, Mauro held the position of Operational and Maintenance Supervisor at FPT Industrial and served as a First Lieutenant in the Brazilian Army. Mauro possesses a Master of Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, a specialization in Lean Manufacturing from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, and a degree in Production Engineering from Faculdade Pitagoras.
