Ben Hayworth

Ben Hayworth serves as the Head of Revenue Operations at Valence since March 2024, following a role as Co-Founder at Degenda, where responsibilities included leading go-to-market strategies and fundraising efforts. Ben's earlier experience encompasses significant research and teaching roles at Penn State University, including a Research Assistant position that resulted in six peer-reviewed publications and a Teaching Assistant role for large classes. Additional academic contributions occurred as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Chicago, where collaboration with NASA scientists led to the development of statistical frameworks for astrobiology. Ben’s technical expertise was further enhanced through internships and research positions that involved computational modeling and atmospheric studies, which supported publications in reputable journals. Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
