Laura Quezada currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Valence College Prep, where additional roles include Dean of 6th Grade, Dean of Academics, and Literacy Instructional Coach. Prior experience includes positions at Achievement First, where Laura was a 5th Grade Level Leader and ELA Teacher, and Democracy Prep Public Schools, where responsibilities included 7th Grade English, Language Arts Grade Level Chair, and Civics Coordinator. Laura also taught 6th Grade Math and Social Studies at E.H. Carey Middle School, contributing to significant performance improvements. Professional development work led to the school’s higher accountability rating. Laura's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a MS.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction Math Education from The University of Texas at Arlington, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Baruch College.
