Cheryl Howson

Cheryl Howson has over a decade of extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Valenture Institute since January 2020. Prior to this role, Cheryl held various positions at BASF from August 2013 to January 2020, including Head of Finance and Accounting and Taxation Manager. Cheryl's professional background also includes a tenure as Financial Accountant at Old Mutual and TOTAL, as well as serving as Audit Supervisor at Ernst & Young, where involvement in graduate recruitment and facilitating the Ernst & Young Business Experience Programme occurred. Cheryl holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
