Jamie Rood is a seasoned professional in the education technology sector, currently serving as Co-Founder at Marking.ai, where efforts are focused on transforming the education landscape by providing a platform to significantly reduce marking time for educators. Jamie holds extensive experience at Valenture Institute, having held multiple roles including Product Manager, Senior Learning Designer, and Learning Designer, contributing to the launch of innovative educational products for online high schooling in South Africa. Jamie also co-founded ClockWork SA and served as Product Owner at Honoris United Universities, leading digital product development aimed at improving the student experience. Jamie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Psychology, and Geography from the University of Cape Town.
