Jessica de Villiers

Jessica de Villiers is an experienced education professional currently serving as a UCT Online High School Student Success Support Coach at Valenture Institute since April 2022. Previously, Jessica worked as an Online Teacher and Teacher Mentor with The Really Great Teacher Company from November 2019 to March 2022. Jessica's formative experience includes a practical placement at Pieterlangeveldt Primary School as a Social Work student from January 2016 to January 2018, where responsibilities included building relationships with pupils and overseeing educational programs. Additionally, Jessica served as a Teacher Assistant at Children's World from 2015 to 2016, supporting children's early education. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Anthropology, along with two years of Social Work studies from Stellenbosch University, and a Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from The TEFL Academy. Educational qualifications also encompass a short course in New Managers Development from Stellenbosch Business School and a Matriculation with Honors from Fairmont High School.
