April Twu

April Twu is a highly experienced Senior Staff Environmental Engineer currently employed at Valero since June 2017, where responsibilities include managing refinery process safety and overseeing environmental engineering projects. Prior to this role, April worked at Pinnacle Advanced Reliability Technologies from July 2013 to June 2017 as a Project Lead and Asset Integrity Analyst, focusing on risk-based inspection and mechanical reliability for refineries. April began a career in engineering as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering was attained from 2010 to 2013, following studies at Austin Community College from 2009 to 2010.
