Brendan Baker

Brendan Baker is an experienced electrical engineer and system developer with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Lead Load System Developer at Valero since May 2018, Brendan has progressed through roles including Sr Load System Developer and Load System Developer. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic, where Brendan designed custom PCBs with embedded microcontrollers, and at the UTSA Robotics Lab, focusing on intelligent control systems. Brendan's early career featured internships at SPAWAR and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, where projects involved advanced signal processing and PCB design for underwater vehicles. Brendan holds an MBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, both with a focus on Controls.
