David Sohmer

David Sohmer is an experienced professional in information security, currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Valero Energy Corporation since February 2013. Prior to this role, David held the position of Director of Security at General Dynamics ATP from May 2004 to February 2013. David's career began in the US Navy, where David served as Chief Petty Officer from June 1983 until May 2004. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Operations Management obtained from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Park University.
