Jason Ashworth, MSN, APRN, FNP-C has a diverse work experience that includes roles in healthcare, security, and law enforcement. Jason started their career in 1992 as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Huntington Police Department, where they served until 2012. In 1986, they joined the West Virginia National Guard as a Team Leader and continued in that role until 2018. In 2015, they transitioned to healthcare and worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Moses Family Medicine, Inc. until 2019. Currently, they hold multiple roles at Valley Health Systems, Inc., including Chief Safety and Security Officer and Nurse Practitioner.

Following this, they attended the University of Charleston from 2013 to 2014 and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Jason Ashworth then pursued further education at Walden University for a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in the field of Family Practice Nurse/Nursing; the start and end years for this degree are not provided.
