Reetta Loponen

Reetta Loponen is the Vice President of Sustainability at Valmet, a global leader in process technologies and automation for the pulp, paper, and energy sectors since August 2023. Previously, Reetta served in various leadership roles at Enact Sustainable Strategies from February 2017 to July 2023, including Member of the Enact Group management team, Head of Enact Finland, and Senior Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility/ESG Advisor, assisting corporations with strategic sustainability initiatives. Reetta also has experience as a Senior Advisor in sustainability for corporate clients, a Communications Manager at Neste focusing on sustainability communications, a Senior Manager at PwC specializing in sustainability and climate change, and held roles at Aalto University Executive Education and The Capital Group. Reetta's early career included leadership positions at Avalans and AIESEC. Reetta earned a Master's degree in Social Science with a focus on Political Science and Development Studies from the University of Helsinki.
