Eric Kruse

Eric Kruse is an experienced environmental health and safety professional currently serving as the Regional Safety Manager for North America Coatings at Valmont Industries, Inc., since August 2019. In this role, Eric drives continuous improvement of EHS practices across the organization. Prior to this position, Eric worked as a Division EHS Support Specialist at The University of Kansas, where responsibilities included managing the campus-wide lab safety program and evaluating lab safety conditions. Earlier experience includes a Laboratory Safety Specialist role at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, focusing on hazardous waste determination and conducting RCRA audits, as well as a position as a Plant Pathology Lab Technician. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, complemented by an education from Kirkwood Community College.
