Amanda Arnold

Amanda Arnold, PhD, serves as Vice President of Government Affairs & Policy at Valneva, leading U.S. government affairs strategy and advocating for vaccine access and outbreak preparedness. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director at Arizona State University, focusing on research representation in Congress and securing R&D funding while completing a PhD in Science and Technology Policy. Amanda previously worked at the Texas A&M Health Science Center as Assistant Director, engaging with federal biomedical funding, and held positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as Senior Policy Advisor and the National Institutes of Health as a Health Policy Analyst. Early career includes serving as a Legislative Aide in the United States Senate, managing transportation and science policy issues. Education includes an MSc in Science & Technology Policy from the University of Sussex and a PhD from Arizona State University.
