Katrina Adams

Katrina Adams has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Katrina began their career as an intern at Greeley and Hansen in 2004 and later interned at A123 Systems in 2008. In 2007, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan until 2011. Katrina then joined Treadwell & Rollo | A Langan Company as a Staff Engineer from 2011 to 2013. In 2016, they joined Verizon as a Data Scientist in Wireless AI/ML Innovation, and eventually became the Principal Data Scientist in the same department in 2020. Katrina'smost recent position is as a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning at Valo, starting in April 2021.

Katrina Adams has a diverse educational background. Katrina obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they continued their studies at the University of Michigan and earned another Master of Science degree, this time in Chemical Engineering. In 2011, Katrina received the certification of Engineer in Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Katrina also obtained the HAZWOPER certification from OSHA in August 2011.

In 2014, Katrina expanded their field by studying Machine Learning at Columbia Engineering for a short period. In 2014, they enrolled in the UC Berkeley School of Information and pursued a Master of Information in Data Science, which they completed in 2016.
