Taryn Hill Sprayberry has a diverse work experience in the field of education and leadership. Taryn started their career in 2011 as the Director of Elam Hall at Lipscomb University. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant to the Director of Coaching at Ramsey Solutions, where they provided support in coaching and developing action plans for small businesses. In 2017, Taryn became an EntreLeadership Coach at Ramsey Solutions, where they led strategic meetings, facilitated peer-to-peer meetings, and partnered with clients to assess their business needs and goals. In 2018, they joined KIPP Nashville as a Talent Manager, responsible for managing talent acquisition and development. Currently, Taryn is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Valor Collegiate Academies, where they focus on supporting other school communities by prioritizing holistic education and developing relationships.
Taryn Hill Sprayberry has a well-rounded education history. In 2007, they began their academic journey at Lipscomb University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family Relations. Taryn completed their undergraduate studies in 2011. Subsequently, Taryn sought further educational advancement at the same institution, Lipscomb University, enrolling in the Master of Arts (MA) program in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. Taryn obtained their Master's degree in 2013. Additionally, in 2010, Taryn attended the Focus Leadership Institute, although the details regarding the degree and field of study are unavailable. Valor Collegiate Academies is the first diverse-by-design, public college preparatory charter school in Nashville, TN to serve a holistically diverse background of students. Founded with the mission to empower our diverse community to live inspired, purposeful lives, Valor currently serves 1,900 students across three schools in grades 5-12. At the core of our model is Compass, a nationally-recognized model for comprehensive human development and social-emotional learning.
