Valor Education
Jesse Bates has extensive work experience in the education sector. Jesse started their career as a Math and Science Teacher at Anthem Preparatory Academy in 2010 and worked there until 2012. Jesse then joined Glendale Preparatory Academy as a Director of Operations & Teacher from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked as a Manager of Operations at Great Hearts San Antonio from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Jesse Bates is serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Valor Education, a position they have held since 2016.
Jesse Bates attended The Cambridge School of Dallas from 2002 to 2006. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. After that, Bates attended St. John's College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts.

In 2022-2023, Valor serves over 2,200 students in central Texas. Through Socratic teaching and a school culture filled with joy, respect, and deep engagement, our classical schools are forming students in wisdom and virtue so they can become fully alive and truly free. The Valor Institute Every civilization has its own unique challenges. The Valor Institute is a creative response to the challenges of our time: the degradation of civic discourse, a reductionist view of the natural world, and the fraying bonds of friendship and community. Through our centers in Austin and San Diego, the Institute offers a rich and personal counter-proposal to these challenges. Each of our initiatives is designed to cultivate wisdom, inspire gratitude, and deepen friendship.
