Peter Krenzke

Peter Krenzke is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and bioengineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Valparaiso University since August 2018, Krenzke focuses on developing and teaching courses in thermal sciences, measurements, and instrumentation. Prior to this role, Krenzke held positions as an Assistant Professor at Taylor University and as a Graduate Student/Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota while pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Krenzke's industry experience includes engineering roles at Caterpillar Inc., where design work involved bolted joint analyses and assembly process improvements, as well as internships at Rolls-Royce and Eli Lilly and Company. Krenzke’s academic background includes a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University.
