Monty Goodson

Monty Goodson is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing electronic systems. Currently employed at Valve Corporation since December 2012, Monty also serves as Chief Engineer at BittyBot LLC, where a passion project evolved into a successful venture creating robot controller boards for miniature robotics, notably utilized by the University of Stuttgart in a swarm robotics research project. As a co-founder and CTO of BikeTrak from March 2011 to July 2012, Monty contributed to the development of a GPS tracking system aimed at preventing bicycle theft. Previous roles include a hardware design engineering consultant at Tektronix Component Solutions in 2010-2011 and a decade-long tenure as a hardware design engineer at Tektronix, where Monty played a key role in advancing industry-leading oscilloscopes. Monty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.
