Dorothea Ku-Dipietro

Dorothea Ku-DiPietro has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dorothea currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Valvoline Instant Oil Change - PM lube, LLC since January 2021.

Prior to this, Dorothea worked at Valvoline Instant Oil Change for 19 years, starting as an Owner in 2002 and then transitioning to the role of Marketing Director in October 2017. During their time in this role, they were responsible for content and copywriting, email marketing, and collaborating with design teams for various marketing projects. Dorothea also handled editing and proofreading tasks, coordinated project completion, and managed marketing campaigns.

Before joining Valvoline, Dorothea had their own business as a Personal Trainer and Coach from August 1995 to August 2018. Dorothea worked with Collegiate, High School, and Youth clients, applying strength and conditioning principles in both individual and group settings. Additionally, they provided coaching in specific track and field skills and technique.

Dorothea's career began as an Assistant Women's Track & Field and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Virginia Tech from June 1993 to August 1995. In this role, they assisted with coaching collegiate athletes, devised training plans, and focused on training technique, skill, and strength for sprinters, hurdlers, and field events.

Dorothea also gained experience working at the City of Fairfax - Parks and Recreation from May 1986 to August 1993. Initially serving as a Counselor, Dorothea moved on to assume an Assistant Supervisor role and later worked as an intern. Dorothea'sresponsibilities included program planning, community initiatives, and serving youth in the City of Fairfax.
