Carrie Graveel

Senior Research Scientist at Van Andel Institute

Carrie Graveel currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Research Experience at the Van Andel Institute Graduate School since July 2023. In addition, Carrie has been a Senior Research Scientist at the Van Andel Institute since November 2002, focusing on the investigation of the NF1 tumor suppressor's role in breast cancer and sarcomas, while also developing innovative therapeutic strategies for NF1-related cancers. Carrie earned a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison after completing an undergraduate degree at Kalamazoo College from 1992 to 1996.
