Russell Jones

Russell Jones is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as Chair and Program Lead in the Department of Metabolism and Nutritional Programming at the Van Andel Institute since August 2018. In addition, Russell Jones holds the position of Adjunct Professor and Associate Professor at McGill University, where involvement spans from June 2014 to the present. Prior experience includes a role as a Full Member at the Goodman Cancer Research Centre from May 2008 to September 2019 and as an Assistant Professor at McGill University from May 2008 to April 2014. Earlier in Russell Jones's career, a postdoctoral fellowship was completed at the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2008. Russell Jones earned a Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto between 1997 and 2003 and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College from 1993 to 1997.
