Van Andel Institute
Timothy Myers, M.B.A., C.P.A. serves as Van Andel Institute’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Myers is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Institute, including business planning, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, treasury and risk management, and endowment management.
Myers joined the Institute in 1998, leading the development and launch of its finance and accounting function.
Prior to March 2010, he served as Van Andel Institute’s Controller. Prior to joining VAI, Myers served as an Internal Auditor for Amway Corporation and was also a Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. He completed his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration in professional accounting at Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan.
