Valentijn de Voogd van der Straten is an experienced operations manager with a robust background in offshore, dredging, and renewable energy projects. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Van Stee Offshore since May 2017, Valentijn oversees technical and general operations of the company, managing a fleet of multi-purpose support vessels equipped with dynamic positioning systems. Previous roles include Project Coordinator Offshore at Volker Staal en Funderingen, where responsibilities encompassed work preparation and tender management for offshore foundation projects, and Offshore Superintendent at Van Oord, focusing on in-field cable laying and pre-lay grapnel runs. Early career experience includes superintendent positions at Rasenberg Holding B.V. and Boskalis, handling various construction projects. Valentijn is currently pursuing further education at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and has previously studied at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and ROC Zeeland, earning a degree in Middle Management, Civil Engineering.
