Qumar Zaman

Qumar Zaman has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2006, they worked as a Sports Update Anchor, Sports Talk Show Host, and Play-by-Play Announcer at WCRX-FM Columbia College Chicago. Qumar then became an Associate Producer at ChicagoSportsWebio.com in 2009, where they booked sports guests for interviews and produced show segments. In the same year, they also worked as a Data Collections Coordinator for STATS LLC, where they developed procedures to streamline data collection and designed software and databases. From 2011 to 2011, Zaman served as a Play-by-Play Announcer for Lake County Fielders, an independent minor league baseball team. Qumar then worked as a Video Tech Assistant at Sears Centre Arena, handling video production for sporting events. In 2019, they served as a Sortation Associate at Amazon, where they sorted packages, picked and packed orders, and managed inventory. In 2020, they worked as a Meat Wrapper/Meat Clerk at Jewel-Osco, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and providing customer service. In 2021, they became a Customer Service Representative at Bunzl Distribution NA, strategizing with cross-functional teams and resolving issues for clients. Most recently, they started working as a Remote Producer/Engineer at Van Wagner in 2023.

Qumar Zaman attended Payton College Preparatory High School from 2000 to 2004 where they obtained their High School Diploma. Later, they enrolled in Columbia College Chicago from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
