Annette van Koevering

Annette Van Koevering is an experienced library professional currently serving as Library Manager for the Cowichan and Cowichan Lake Branches of the Vancouver Island Regional Library since June 2018, overseeing 23 regular staff and multiple casual staff members. Previous roles include Area Librarian at Cariboo Regional District Library, Branch Head at Okanagan Regional Library, and Children's Librarian at both Solano County and Los Angeles Public Library, showcasing a consistent trajectory of leadership and collection management. Annette's early career also included roles in kitchen management and administration at Campus Cooperative Residence Inc., complemented by foundational experience as a Data Entry Clerk. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Information Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Archaeology from the University of Toronto and The University of Winnipeg, respectively.
