David Haynes is a highly experienced academic and medical professional currently serving as Professor, Vice Chairman, and Chief Academic Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since May 1995. His expertise spans multiple roles, including Division Director of Neurotology, Director of the Cochlear Implant Program, and Co-Director of the Vanderbilt Skull Base Center. Additional leadership positions include Medical Director of the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Cochlear Implant Program and Director of The Otology Group of Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Cochlear Implant Program.
