Ratna Kumar, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. From 1998 to 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company. In 2010, they joined Mphasis Inc as a Project Lead. Since 2012, Ratna has been working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in various roles. Ratna started as a Principal Business Intel Developer, where they led the technical team for the Vanderbilt Enterprise Data Warehouse project and developed ETL processes and dimensional modeling databases. In 2017, they became the Manager of Data Analytics, overseeing the VUMC IT Business Intelligence team and managing the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Currently, Ratna holds the position of Associate Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Ratna Kumar obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Belmont University - Jack C. Massey College of Business between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, between 1990 and 1994, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) at Hindustan College of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Madras. Their secondary education was completed at Doveton Corrie Boys School in Chennai, India, where they earned a Higher Secondary diploma between 1988 and 1990.
