Maya M. Faison, Ed.D., is an accomplished educator and consultant with extensive experience in public policy, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University and the Founder & Principal Consultant at The Bugg Consulting Group, LLC, Maya has a proven track record of developing and leading significant initiatives, such as the Board Leaders of Color Collaborative and successful fundraising efforts at the Tennessee Charter School Center. Previously, leadership roles at Education Pioneers and Citizen Schools demonstrated Maya's commitment to increasing educational equity and improving student outcomes. An accomplished academic with degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Pennsylvania, Maya's work continues to influence educational policies and practices across the United States.
