Lucas Pate

Lucas Pate is an experienced professional currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office since June 2023. In addition to this role, Lucas has been a member of the Army National Guard since August 2016, holding several positions including Provost Marshall for the 81st Troop Command HHD and Platoon Leader for the 384th MP Company. Previously, Lucas worked as the Director of Orchestras for the EVANSVILLE-VANDERBURGH SCHOOL CORPORATION, overseeing orchestra classes and participating in coaching. Additional experience includes serving as a Stringed Instrument Instructor at the Evansville Music Academy and a Recording Engineer at the University of Evansville, where extensive audio/visual production was accomplished. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Evansville and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management at Webster University.
