Diego Saavedra

Diego Saavedra is a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer at Vanderlande since November 2020, following experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer I at KBR, Inc. from June 2018 to October 2020. At KBR, Diego held roles such as Area Design Lead, overseeing the design of a $9 billion refinery pipe bridge and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and served as a Piping Interface Coordinator while managing a detailed bilingual training plan as President of IMPACT. Prior to this, Diego completed a Project Engineering Internship at Subsea 7 in 2017. Diego holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, completed in 2018, and graduated from St. Thomas High School in 2013.
