Peter Chen

Peter Chen is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in controls and software engineering. Currently serving as Project Lead Engineer at Vanderlande since February 2021, Peter's previous roles at the same company include Senior Controls Project Engineer and Controls Project Engineer. Prior to Vanderlande, Peter was employed at MHS as a Controls Engineer/Software Engineer and briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Metro Sports Inc. Peter began a career in media as a Reporter and Editor at China Central Television from July 2012 to July 2015, where an array of business stories were produced, alongside experience at Bloomberg Businessweek, publishing articles on mobile payments and intelligent equipment. Educational qualifications include a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University at Albany, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Communication University of China.
