André is currently the Director of Sales and Business Development for Benelux & Nordics at VanEck, a position they have held since May 2022. Before joining SKAGEN Funds, they were a Senior Sales Manager for Benelux at Lombard Odier Investment Managers from July 2008 to June 2012. André also gained experience as a Senior Investment Specialist at Rabobank from July 2005 to June 2008 and as an Asset Manager at MeesPierson from January 1997 to June 2005.
André V. has a diverse education history. In 2014, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained a degree in Strategic Account Management from the Institute for Sales and Account Management (ISAM). From 1999 to 2001, they studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and received a certification as a Certified Investment Analyst (RBA) with a specialization in CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst).
Earlier in their education, André V. pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (formerly known as HES Rotterdam) from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 1989 to 1995. Prior to this, they attended Willem de Zwijger College in Papendrecht from 1983 to 1989, where they obtained their HAVO diploma with a focus on Economics & languages.
As an ongoing commitment to professional growth, André V. has also completed various relevant courses in finance from NIBE-SVV Opleidingen, starting in 1997.
In addition to their formal education, André V. holds the DACFP Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals, which they obtained in June 2022.
