Currently serving as Principal and Global Head of Technology Operations & Infrastructure - CTO at Vanguard since April 1998, Rich Luzzi leads initiatives in cloud operations, cyber security, AI analytics, and infrastructure management. Prior roles include Principal Head of Institutional Retirement Plans at Vanguard and Principal Global Head of Six Sigma & Process Engineering. Rich Luzzi’s earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Vice President & Divisional CIO at Bank of America, overseeing technology for capital markets, and holding senior positions at Andersen Consulting and Price Waterhouse, focusing on investment management technology. Rich Luzzi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Rhode Island and has educational credentials from The Wharton School.
