Scott C. Malpass joined the Vanguard board in 2012. He is chief investment officer and vice president at the University of Notre Dame. He is an assistant professor of finance at the university's Mendoza College of Business and a member of the Notre Dame 403(b) Investment Committee. Mr. Malpass also serves as Chairman of the Board of TIFF Advisory Services, Inc., and on the board of Catholic Investment Services, Inc.; as a member of the board of advisors for Spruceview Capital Partners; and as a member of the board of superintendence of the Institute for the Works of Religion.
