Ryan Evans has over 20 years of experience in technical leadership and operations management, currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at Vantage Data since November 2017. In this role, Ryan oversees eight direct reports across various disciplines, including Data Science, BI Reporting, and Cloud Architecture, while also focusing on the design and deployment of machine learning models and data pipelines. Previously, Ryan held key positions at GfK, including Regional Operations Director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, and Operations Director for GfK South Africa, managing large teams and enhancing operational efficiency through innovative solutions. Ryan's early career includes roles as Systems Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer at Altech UEC and Trend Control Systems, respectively. Ryan graduated with a BScEng in Electronics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1999.
