Desouza

David DeSouza has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as the Vice President of Operations at Vapotherm, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering at the same company from February 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Vapotherm, DeSouza worked as the Vice President of Operations at GENERAL FLUIDICS CORPORATION from December 2018 to January 2021. DeSouza, also held various positions at NxStage Medical, Inc., including Director of Program Development Lead, Manager of Engineering, Corporate Manufacturing Operations Manager, and Product Development Engineer, from 2005 to 2018. In addition, DeSouza founded and served as the General Manager of UpTern Global, a company focused on finding internship positions for international students, from December 2014 to July 2017. DeSouza, started their career as a Production Supervisor at Malden Mills from April 2004 to July 2005.

David DeSouza completed their education with an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, from 2011-2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2003-2005. DeSouza, also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Paulista, where they attended from 1997-1999.
