Lars Erik Funderud

Lars Erik Funderud has extensive work experience in the engineering field, primarily in mechanical and commissioning roles. Lars Erik is currently employed at Vår Energi as a Lead Commissioning Engineer Mechanical. Prior to this, Lars worked at Aibel as a Commissioning Engineer, where they later became a Senior Mechanical Package Responsible Engineer. Lars Erik also had a brief period of self-employment as Overall Maintenance Responsible at Funderud Frilans AS.

In 2016, Lars worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Rotating Equipment at Aker Solutions MMO. Lars Erik also had a short break from work during this time.

During their time at Eni Norge AS, Lars served as a Commissioning Engineer, responsible for commissioning and testing the Gas Compressors and Gas Turbine driven Generator package for the Goliat project. Lars Erik later became the System Responsible offshore for commissioning and testing the Fire Water systems and Deluge systems on board Goliat.

Prior to this, Lars worked at Statoil as a Commissioning Engineer and Bjørge as a Senior Engineer in Systems. Lars Erik also worked at Norconsult AS as a Senior Engineer in Mechanical, Thermal Power.

Lars started their career at StatoilHydro, where they held roles such as Package Responsible Engineer and Mechanical Lead in Commissioning and Start-up.

Lars Erik Funderud holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Specific dates pertaining to their education were not provided.
