Rune Oldervoll has more than 20 years’ experience from the oil and gas industry. He started to work for Vår Energi in December 2018. He has had many technical and managerial positions in ExxonMobil, both globally and in Norway. Oldervoll started to work for Exxonmobil just after finishing his studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim in 1997.
Oldervoll was seconded to Shell UK working on the Brent Decommissioning prior to joining Vår Energi. The Operations department in Vår Energi includes the following sub-departments: drilling, operations, surface and subsurface technical.
