Andrea García has a diverse range of work experience in the field of DevOps and Cloud Engineering. Andrea started their career in 2014 as a Helpdesk professional at Acciona Agua, S.A., where they provided customer support and managed Active Directory. In 2015, they worked as a Managed Services Support at Devoteam, where they monitored systems and provided customer support using NAGIOS and ServiceNow.
In 2016, Andrea joined BBVA Next Technologies as a Cloud Engineer. In this role, they gained experience in system administration in both AWS and Azure Cloud, using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templating. Andrea also worked with Kubernetes and Docker (AKS, EKS, ECS) for containerization.
In 2020, Andrea joined XpertAI as a DevOps Engineer and Cloud Architect. Andrea played a key role in the development, management, improvement, and support of a multi-million MAU (Monthly Active Users) application hosted on the AWS platform. Andrea'sresponsibilities included working with Terraform, Linux, and GitOps, as well as monitoring the application with Datadog.
In 2022, Andrea was promoted to the role of DevOps Lead and Cloud Architecture at XpertAI, where they continued to provide expertise in DevOps practices and cloud architecture.
Most recently, Andrea is working as a Senior DevOps and Platform Engineer at Varda - Field Data Exchange, starting in April 2023.

Andrea García attended IMF Smart Education from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an EXPERTO UNIVERSITARIO DE TECNOLOGIA Y DE INFRAESTRUCTURAS degree in Tecnología informática/Tecnología de sistemas informáticos.
Prior to that, they studied at IES Clara del Rey from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Técnico Superior en Administración de Sistemas y Redes degree in Informática y comunicaciones, general.

Varda - Field Data Exchange
Varda is an Ag tech start up developing software solutions for agriculture, founded by Yara International. Varda’s mission is to enable the use of field-level data to accelerate the transition towards a nature-positive food system by tackling the challenge of data fragmentation and lack of standards of data produced on farms every day. Varda operates a digital platform, Global Field ID, that through the ingestion of field boundaries assigns a unique identifier that allows for the identification of fields, globally. Having a common geospatial reference for fields will enable industry stakeholders to ‘speak the same language’, improving the interoperability of digital farming tools and data exchange across the whole food value chain. Through the widespread adoption of Global Field ID, Varda’s goal is to bring together leaders from the agri-food industry to collaborate to transition to a more sustainable, resilient, and transparent food system.
