Anna Boog

Anna Boog is a dedicated Materials Engineering student at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a comprehensive background in engineering and leadership roles. Currently interning as a Materials and Process Engineer at Varda Space Industries since June 2023, Anna also holds experience in business development. Amid ongoing studies, Anna has actively contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Office Assistant at UCLA, engaging in biweekly data collection and lab work, and presenting research findings. As Mentorship Chair for the Materials Research Society, Anna facilitated the creation of supportive mentor-mentee relationships and achieved notable recognition for a project at the 2023 SAMPE Conference. Additionally, previous experience as a Competitive Sports Supervisor and a facilitator for Open Dyalog highlights strong organizational and interpersonal skills, fostering engaging environments for discussion and teamwork.
