Camila Aristimuno

Camila Aristimuno is a skilled propulsion engineer currently working at Varda Space Industries since October 2024. Previously, at the USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory, Camila served as the Atlas Responsible Engineer and Lead Test Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a team of over 20 graduate students in the design, assembly, and testing of a bipropellant feed system, managing extensive testing campaigns, and directing the successful static fire tests for multiple rocket engines. In addition to engineering roles, Camila gained experience as a Spacecraft Systems Engineering Intern at Mandala Space Ventures, where tasks involved propulsion system simulations, ΔV calculations, and developing structural designs for orbital centers. Camila holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a focus on Astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
