Jack Wang

Jack Wang is a Senior Mission Software Engineer at Varda Space Industries since July 2023. Previously, Jack held multiple roles at SpaceX from July 2011 to November 2022, including Sr. Software Engineer in Satellite Engineering, Sr. Ground Software Engineer, and Launch Control Software Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in early 2010, and research assistant roles at Lagrangian Sensor Systems Laboratory and Mechanical Systems Control Laboratory between 2008 and 2009. Jack Wang earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
