Rick Noel is a Partner and Global Co-Head of Financial Services. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Based in London, he joined the firm in 1999 and was named Partner in 2006.
Rick established the firm’s Singapore office in 2008 after working in Minneapolis on U.S. illiquid investments for nine years. Rick is an experienced debt and equity investor in the financial services, real estate and transportation sectors.
Prior to joining Värde, Rick served as a Fixed Income Investment Officer at Advantus Capital Management and an Investment Manager at Cargill Financial. He also formerly worked in the Audit and Business Advisory Group at Arthur Andersen.
Rick graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting and received his M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a CPA (inactive).
