Doug Thomson

Doug Thomson is an experienced design professional with a diverse background in graphic design and art direction. Since August 2021, Doug has been serving as the Associate Art Director and Graphic Designer for Variety. Prior to this role, Doug held multiple positions at DC Comics, including Design Director for MAD Magazine from September 2017 to August 2019, as well as Assistant Art Director and Production Designer for MAD Magazine from January 2004 to August 2014. Doug's educational background includes an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (2002-2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Hunter College (1998-2000).
